Bernard McGrath, owner of Heather and Thistle is a native of Scotland and was born in the capital city of Edinburgh. Bernard is now an American citizen, after immigrating to the United States with his wife and family several years ago. Everything sold at Heather and Thistle is manufactured in Scotland and is made to the high standard which we associated with Scotland. Our store carries a large inventory of fine merchandise. Bernard travels several times a year to Scotland to select new products for the store and to fill special orders. If it is made in Scotland we can usually supply it for our customers.
